Store Renovation

Newest Project:
Build-out for a 3,000 sq ft storefront.
More details to come.
Yes, there is also a website for the store in the works as well...
Here's a wall. It's 12', 7" long and 43" tall (with the finish trim/cap), to match the height of the window sills.
Yes, it's level.
Yes it's plumb. That's "straight" for you non-carpenter types... ;)
Scratch that. Here's two walls. They form the playroom for the new store that's going in here.
Yes, they're both plumb...
As you can see, I had to go into the floor to support the wall. You know, to prevent the kids from knocking em' over.
Let me tell you, this wasn't fun; cutting into 1.5 inch thick plywood to get to the floor joists.
**cough***cough**

Here's the front display stand. There's a matching one of the other side. They're built to support a full grown person(s) but will only be supporting gear and equipment.
This one is 11',9" long, 30" deep, and 24.75" tall.
Interesting fact (ok, not really); They angle off the wall at a 35.5° angle.
Here's the same display base with drywall.Another interesting fact: Did you know the French are known for their work with cement? Did not know this, found out this past summer.
Figures that I'm good at drywalling...
After(ish). The ceiling wasn't quite complete when this picture was shot.It was, however, complete when I walked out of the store at 1am.
There you have it, that's where I've been for the better part of the last two weeks. I've laid over 360 linear feet of baseboard trim, 150 feet of window and wall trim, hung 3 doors, cut myself too many times to count, and have survived off of about 3-4 hours of sleep a night.
I forgot how much I love renovation...
