A Sister, A 219 Year-Old House, and a Nephew...

This is what happens when my nephew pulls back a piece of wallpaper...

Mold is discovered on the drywall behind the wallpaper which leads to a discussion involving phrases like.. "it has to be repla..."..."while we're at it..."... "you know, we might as well..."

It's decided the washer and dryer will be moved, re-plumbed, and re-vented.

Might as well lay a new tile floor while we're at it. Sure, the floor isn't level, but we (read: I) can make it level. No prob! The house is only 218 years old.

While we're at, let's hang real-wood wainscotting. Because you know, it's more "authentic".

Color: inspired by a Tiffany bag and, of all things... a bottle of laundry soap. Yes, I was the one that picked the color. My brother in-law didn't talk to me much that day... :)

And of course I couldn't get the job done without my nephe.....er, apprentices!

(Um, yes there is a toilet and sink (pedestal) in there now. I just haven't had chance to take a picture yet.)
